Ideas for your Trip
Below is a list of ideas to raise money for your upcoming trip with the MIVO Foundation
At MIVO, we want every $$ you raise to go towards your trip and to make sure this donation process goes as smooth as possible. The information below is twofold:
1.) These donation steps ensure that all funds which are donated to your personal mission trip will be directed to that cause.
2.) There are many means by which team members raise the support for their trips. MIVO has found the following recommendations to be helpful.
Create a Fundraiser with Facebook to use social media to help raise funds for your trip.

OR Click on the Facebook icon above for an easy way to start. Then Click on the "+raise money" in the top right corner of the page.

PLEASE make sure that the fundraiser END date is a maximum of 2 months from when you are to leave so that the funds are released to MIVO in time for your trip.
GoFundMe
Create a Fundraiser with GoFundMe to use social media to help raise funds for your trip. [Please note you will be charged a transaction fee by using their service- usually 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction)

MIVO Website
You can have ANYONE easily make a donation on your behalf directly through the MIVO website.

Then follow these simple instructions:

Select Someone Else in the first line

Enter their name

Enter their email address

Put YOUR NAME in this box

What month are you planning your trip? (if they know)

Choose the amount they would like to donate

Click Submit at the bottom and they will be taken to PayPal to securely complete their credit card information.

**Please note if they would like to donate an amount that is not listed, they can adjust the quantity at the bottom of the form to create the amount they would like.

Send a check to MIVO
You can give The MIVO Foundation mailing address in your fundraising letters, etc., stating that checks can be directly mailed with placement of the recipient's name of that donation on the memo line of the personal check.
